In addition, Novelis is leading the industry with its sustainability and recycling efforts. /ppBecome part of our mission to create a sustainable world and start in one of our German locations in bGöttingen, Koblenz, Nachterstedt, Ohle, Stuttgart or Voerde /bor in our European Headquarter inbKüsnacht /b, Switzerland as: /ppbSenior Predictive Maintenance Engineer (m/f/d) /b /ph3Responsibilities Qualifications /h3pAs Senior Predictive Maintenance Engineer you support the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven predictive maintenance and asset-reliability solutions that reduce unplanned downtime and improve equipment reliability across Novelis' manufacturing operations. /ppbWhat awaits you: /b /ppbTechnical Development Delivery /b /pulliDevelop and deliver components of predictive maintenance and asset-reliability systems, including sensor data preparation, feature engineering, model development, deployment support, and monitoring workflows. /liliBuild and improve production-grade failure prediction models, equipment health scoring systems, remaining-useful-life (RUL) estimators, and anomaly detection capabilities that surface prioritized, actionable recommendations to maintenance and operations teams. /liliSupport the scoping, design, and implementation of industrial AI solutions by applying appropriate modeling approaches, evaluation methods, and deployment patterns under the guidance of the Sr. AI Engineer Leader of APM. /liliOptimize model performance across the full stack: training efficiency, inference latency, edge compute constraints, and long-term production stability. /liliContribute to model lifecycle management through MLOps practices such as monitoring, drift detection, retraining support, documentation, and rollback procedures. /li /ulpbExecution Alignment Enterprise Coordination /b /pulliExecute assigned APM work in alignment with Novelis' enterprise strategic data outcomes, including trusted data, operational reliability, metal flow optimization, 3×30 sustainability goals, and cash focus/operational efficiency. /liliSupport the enterprise Data AI Governance framework, ensuring governance is embedded into all workflows and deliverables. /liliSupport quarterly planning, feature scoping, sprint execution, testing, deployment, and adoption activities aligned to the APM delivery roadmap and KPI framework. /li /ulpbHow you convince us: /b /pulliYou hold a Master's degree or advanced certification in AI, Machine Learning, or a related field. /liliYou have experience in manufacturing, industrial, or sustainability-focused organizations. /liliYou have at least 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, predictive maintenance, reliability analytics, or industrial AI systems delivery. /liliYou have experience in developing predictive models using time-series data, sensor data, or equipment telemetry. /liliYou are proficient in Python and ML frameworks and feel familiar with IoT and OT data. /liliYou have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. /li /ulpbWhat Novelis offers you: /b /pullib#pensionscheme: /b Your future matters to us!
