The Medical Faculty, is seeking to fill the position, starting as soon as possible, of a
Professor (W3) (m/f/d) - Open Topic
within the Faculty of Medicine's key research areas ageing, neurosciences, oncology, and trauma.
No management responsibilities

Applicants should demonstrate an independent research profile, evidenced by high-impact publications and the acquisition of external funding. The research focus should lie within the core research areas of the Faculty of Medicine: aging, neurosciences, oncology and trauma. Candidates are expected to be willing to collaborate in research networks within the Faculty of Medicine and the University of Ulm, as well as to help shape new collaborative initiatives.
In addition, active participation in the development and im-plementation of new teaching concepts for the Faculty of Medicine's degree programs is expected.
Employment requirements are completed university studies in life sciences as well as teaching aptitude, a doctoral degree and further pertinent scientific achievements (§ 47 LHG).
