About Us
Tameo is a Swiss impact investing specialist serving the financial industry with independent expert solutions. Our mission is to leverage unique data-driven insights to support impact fund managers, catalytic investors, and institutional investors.
We develop and maintain proprietary digital platforms, including:
- Tameo Analytics: A data platform featuring custom fund performance indices, benchmarking tools, and a newsfeed.
- Admin Tool: A staff-only app integrating data from external websites, processing documents with AI, and providing evaluation outputs.
- Data Collection Platform: A tool for launching data collection campaigns, soon to be expanded for external use.
As our Senior Full-Stack Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of these systems.
Your Role
In this position, you will:
- Own the technical ecosystem: Oversee, maintain, and enhance existing systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Lead product development: Enhance and expand the features and capabilities of our platforms to meet evolving business needs and improve user experience.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines: Establish DevOps practices for efficient development and deployment.
- Support non-technical team: Work closely with non-technical team members to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Educational background: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional experience: 6-8 years in full-stack development with technical leadership roles. Experience in scaling platforms or working in sustainable finance is an advantage.
- Leadership: Proven track record of providing strategic guidance at the executive or board level.
- Strong technical skills:
- Expertise in Microsoft environments: .NET Framework/Core, and Azure cloud services (SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Azure functions, Event Bus).
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, Alpine.js, or Blazor.
- API development and integration skills.
- Knowledge of AI integration (e.g., OpenAI or similar APIs).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., GIT, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines).
- Optimize applications for performance and security.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required, working knowledge of French is a plus.
- Independent leadership: A proven ability to manage technical systems with minimal oversight and drive projects from concept to completion.
- Project management: Experience managing project roadmaps, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Collaboration skills: Effective communication with non-technical stakeholders, conducting code reviews and providing mentorship/managing junior developers.
- Work permit: A valid Swiss work permit or EEA/EU citizenship is required for local employment.
