Postdoc position in functional genetics (m/f/d)

These are your tasks:

• Conducting scientific research in DFG-funded project in the field of neurogenetics using molecular, biochemical, cell-biological and microscopic methods
• Statistical evaluation of experimental data and visualisation of results
• Publication in international journals, presentation at international conferences
• Supervising research projects of Ph.D., B.Sc. and M.Sc. students

Your profile:

• Completed Ph.D. in natural sciences such as biology, molecular medicine, biochemistry, biotechnology or similar discipline
• Proficiency in cellular, molecular and biochemical methods (e.g. real-time PCR, cell culture, Western Blotting)
• Experience in animal experimental work using mice
• Proficiency in histology and fluorescence microscopy imaging and analysis
• Excellent English communication skills in both written and orally
• High motivation, creativity, team spirit and independence
