Overview As Factory Controller at the Thayngen site, you will lead financial planning, control, and business partnering to drive cost efficiency and value creation. You’ll sit on the site leadership team, shaping long-term plans and investment decisions while ensuring strong governance and compliance. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives and deliver accurate forecasts and financial results. This role offers visible impact on site performance and alignment with the broader Unilever finance network. Verantwortungsbereiche Partner with Site Leadership Team to identify performance improvements and implement value-adding financial solutions. Deliver in-year targets across cost, waste, and capex with ownership of forecasts, weekly cost governance, and annual planning. Drive long-term site planning (Masterplan, Network transformation, annual plan) and guide leadership on value items. Co-develop and implement cost-saving initiatives with Operations. Provide analytical support for line/area prioritization using production costs, OLE losses, and waste data. Manage month-end and year-end closing, reporting, and accounting per corporate guidelines. Ensure robust on-site financial controls for inventory, fixed assets, and balance sheet integrity. Engage with the wider finance community to share knowledge and best practices across the network. Zentrale Anforderungen Minimum of 3 years of Finance experience with strong Controlling background; Factory or Supply Chain Finance preferred. Fluency in English; German knowledge or willingness to learn preferred. Role-based in Thayngen factory with mobility requirements. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with strong governance. Ability to absorb new information and apply advanced techniques to improve efficiency.
