h3TT IT Developer / Business Analyst – Job description /h3 /brh3Main Responsibilities /h3 /brpThe position combines software development, business analysis and project delivery activities within the Bank’s IT environment. /p /brh3As an IT Developer: /h3 /brul /brliAnalyze, estimate and plan technical, security and functional requirements. /li /brliDesign, develop, test and implement solutions in accordance with the Bank’s standards and procedures. /li /brliMaintain clear, accurate and up-to-date technical and functional documentation. /li /brliImplement and maintain development, testing and deployment tools and processes. /li /brliContribute to the continuous improvement of applications, processes and development practices. /li /brliProvide Level 3 support for applications within the assigned scope, including the analysis of complex incidents, resolution of application-related issues, coordination with vendors, and participation in problem management. /li /brliCollaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders and third-party application providers. /li /brliUse the Bank’s approved AI tools, in compliance with applicable security, confidentiality and data protection requirements. /li /br /ul /brh3As a Business Analyst: /h3 /brul /brliAssist project sponsors and business stakeholders in defining and documenting their requirements. /li /brliAnalyze functional requirements raised by users, sponsors and other stakeholders. /li /brliIdentify business needs, clarify objectives and translate them into clear and actionable specifications. /li /brliDefine and recommend appropriate solutions in collaboration with all project stakeholders, including third-party application teams. /li /brliPrepare project deliverables and functional specifications in accordance with UBP’s methodology and standards. /li /brliPrepare, facilitate and document workshops to gather requirements, align stakeholders and support project delivery. /li /brliSupport the development team during technical and functional analysis. /li /brliCoordinate and execute testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). /li /brliIdentify, assess and closely monitor project risks, issues and dependencies. /li /brliDefine and follow up on appropriate mitigation and resolution plans. /li /brliSupport and train users during implementation and after go-live. /li /brliContribute to the preparation of user documentation and operational procedures. /li /br /ul /brh3Technical Skills: /h3 /brul /brliRequired: /brul /brliProgramming experience with Java, including Java 8 or later. /li /brliAngular and Vue.js. /li /brliStrong SQL skills are required, including experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase. /li /brliExperience with version-control tools (e.g. GIT) and automatic deployment tools. /li /br /ul /br /li /brliAn advantage: /brul /brliKnowledge of APIs and integration technologies. /li /brliKnowledge of cloud or infrastructure technologies would be an advantage. /li /brliKnowledge of software testing tools and methodologies. /li /br /ul /br /li /br /ul /brh3Personal Skills: /h3 /brul /brliExcellent oral and written communication skills. /li /brliAbility to adapt communication style to different audiences, including business users, IT specialists and senior stakeholders. /li /brliStrong analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex topics and summarize them clearly. /li /brliCustomer- and service-oriented mindset. /li /brliStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills. /li /brliAbility to build consensus while respecting people, processes and established procedures. /li /brliCommitment to producing clear, accurate and user-friendly documentation. /li /brliStrong willingness to learn, improve and contribute to the team. /li /brliProactive, energetic and able to take ownership of initiatives. /li /brliRigorous, reliable and committed to delivering high-quality results. /li /brliAbility to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment. /li /brliAutonomous and able to manage multiple tasks at the same time with different priorities. /li /br /ul /brh3Education and Qualifications: /h3 /brul /brliUniversity degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field. /li /brliBasic knowledge of banking and financial services is required. /li /brliProfessional experience in software development is required. /li /brliPrevious experience in business analysis or IT project delivery would be an advantage /li /brliFluency in both French and English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills. /li /br /ul /brh3Experience: /h3 /brpAt least three years of professional experience in software development, preferably within the banking or financial services industry /p /brpbCore Competencies : Adherence to the company’s values: Dedication, Conviction, Agility and Responsibility -
