Location Düsseldorf, DE, 40221 Contract Full time Start Date 01/01/2026 Responsibilities Lead and manage the LNG trading desk, including strategy development and day‑to‑day trading activities, focusing on short‑term markets (year +1). Identify market opportunities and execute profitable trading strategies. Oversee and optimise the utilisation of regasification terminals across Europe. Proactively develop, strengthen and expand relationships with LNG trading counterparties. Build and maintain strategic relationships with key market participants. Ensure traded volumes remain within approved risk limits while delivering profitable outcomes for the company. Promote a strong understanding of and adherence to all relevant Risk and Compliance policies as well as the company’s Code of Conduct. Lead an international team of highly skilled LNG Traders and Support Managers. Develop, empower and mentor team members to support their professional growth and performance. Qualifications Strong leadership and decision‑making skills. At least 5 years of experience in LNG trading and origination. Understanding of the supply and demand fundamentals of LNG markets. Commercial thinking – spotting opportunities and taking risks to create value. Team player with excellent communication, negotiation skills and a highly analytical mindset.
