Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the LNG trading desk, including strategy development and day‑to‑day trading activities, focusing on short‑term markets (year +1).
- Identify market opportunities and execute profitable trading strategies.
- Oversee and optimise the utilisation of regasification terminals across Europe.
- Proactively develop, strengthen and expand relationships with LNG trading counterparties.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key market participants.
- Ensure traded volumes remain within approved risk limits while delivering profitable outcomes for the company.
- Promote a strong understanding of and adherence to all relevant Risk and Compliance policies as well as the company’s Code of Conduct.
- Lead an international team of highly skilled LNG Traders and Support Managers.
- Develop, empower and mentor team members to support their professional growth and performance.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and decision‑making skills.
- At least 5 years of experience in LNG trading and origination.
- Understanding of the supply and demand fundamentals of LNG markets.
- Commercial thinking – spotting opportunities and taking risks to create value.
- Team player with excellent communication, negotiation skills and a highly analytical mindset.
