Your responsibilities

As a team leader, you will have technical and disciplinary responsibility in the area of technical building equipment. Your tasks will also include specialist planning responsibility for technical building services. The specialist focus is on air conditioning and ventilation technology, heating and cooling technology and fire protection systems. The area of responsibility of the team includes planning services as basic engineering as well as detailed engineering (work phases HOAI 1 to 9). Some examples of subtasks are presented below:

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations on occupational safety, health and environmental protection in the area of responsibility
  • Personnel and technical management and further development of the existing team
  • Providing support with questions relating to project organisation, resource planning and technical purchasing advice
  • Technical coordination and quality assurance of the specialist planning of contractors
  • Coordination and negotiation with internal and external project participants (planning companies, contractors, clients)
  • Participation in scheduling/control, checking and influencing the execution deadlines
  • Monitoring the quality of execution, acceptance of services
  • Technical support for accounting and supplementary management
  • Optimisation of existing processes and development of new concepts
  • Order correspondence and technical documentation

Your profile

  • University/university of applied sciences degree in supply engineering specialising in technical building services (heating, air conditioning, ventilation, sanitation), energy and thermal engineering
  • Experience in leading a planning team
  • Several years of professional experience in the control, processing, planning and project planning of technical building systems, preferably in industrial construction
  • Knowledge of CAD applications and specialised design software, experience in creating 3D models and project processing with BIM an advantage
  • Communication, planning and organisational skills
  • Project management experience
  • Practical and solution-orientated approach, commitment, initiative, ability to work in a team, assertiveness and negotiating skills
  • Creativity, resilience and ability to work in a team as well as analytical and forward-looking thinking and behaviour
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Willingness to travel on temporary assignments
