Aufgaben

Our Finance Team in Düsseldorf is looking for YOU! Our 18-24 months program is your gateway to an in-depth understanding of Uniper\’s business and the evolving energy industry. At Uniper, you will learn, grow, and collaborate with experts across various fields. You will have the chance to share your ideas, work in projects, and shape your career within a supportive environment. You will learn from network and collaborate with experts from different fields across Uniper, contribute your ideas and work on your own projects. You can gain international experience by doing an optional international placement. You will contribute to our active trainee community, receive training courses and development opportunities, and network both with the trainee community and the business areas. Your career journey at Uniper will be as unique as you are, with opportunities aligned to your interests and strengths.

• During the 18-24 months trainee program, you will develop a deep understanding of Uniper\’s business, its value drivers, and the business environment
• You will learn from, network and collaborate with experts from different fields across Uniper, contribute your ideas and work on your own projects
• You will contribute to our active trainee community, receive many training courses and development opportunities, and network with the trainee community
• You will start in Finance for the first six months of your trainee program and then rotate flexibly upon your individual career development path and interests across the organization – you design your individual placement plan and receive support from your own mentor
• In your predefined home unit Finance, you will gain comprehensive experience in financial management, including e.g., FX and interest rate management, liquidity steering, treasury operations, risk analysis, stakeholder relationship management, investment evaluations, accounting, financial and business performance transparency, mid-term planning, commercial project management as well as digitalization activities
• We are looking for trainees in Finance, Business Controlling – Gas, LNG & Engineering, Group Finance – Treasury, Accounting and Risk Management. If you have got a preferred team, please indicate so in your application.

Profil

• Successfully completed studies in business administration, mathematics, international management, (energy) economics, preferably with a focus on finance.
• First practical experience gained through internships and/or working student activities, ideally including intercultural experiences
• Motivation to learn and develop in an international environment, taking the initiative and proactivity while working in various teams
• Communication skills and the ambition and skills to network among different stakeholders paired with analytical skills
• English language skills are required, German is a plus
