Head of Group Claims Management (m/w/d)
What to expect
You support the development and operationalization of the claims & anti-fraud strategy within UNIQA Group with a special focus on its implementation for the Austrian business unit.
You ensure a strong governance by defining and setting the relevant Group policies and standards and its translation into effective practice in Austria
You collaborate closely with stakeholders across UNIQA Group on strategic initiatives, driving digitalization, automation and AI transformation in the claims area
You take responsibility for the operational claims management in Austria and continuously evolve it with a focus on efficiency and innovation
You actively contribute to the integration of AI and innovative technologies into claims processes to improve customer experience and operational excellence
You support the Head of the department in budget & resource planning and steer and monitor the team accordingly
You act as an inspiring coach, fostering talent, supporting development and ensuring sustainable team growth
What we expect
You have a completed study and long-term experience in insurance with focus on non-life claims.
You have experience in leading large as well as international teams on a functional basis
You have strong project & process management skills.
Knowledge in the area of digitalization and automatization incl. innovative techniques (like AI, machine learning, etc.) with focus on non-life insurance are an additional advantage.
You have strong analytical skills
Effective communication and negotiation skills are a must have.
Conflict management and stress resilience, always with a focus on potential solutions for upcoming challenges.
Good command of German (minimum B2 level)
