The UNIQLO Store Operations Internship is a hands-on learning experience designed for students who are passionate about retail business management and people leadership. As a store intern, you’ll work directly on the retail sales floor, supporting store operations and developing business skills alongside our regular team.
This internship is a steppingstone towards a long-term career with UNIQLO. Top-performing interns will receive an employment offer to join, post final graduation, our UNIQLO Manager Candidate Graduate Programme designed to fast-track their career in store management and global leadership.
What you’ll be doing
- Work on the sales floor alongside store staff, assisting with customer service, product replenishment, shopfloor standards and overall store operations. The basics are core to brand experience.
- Lead the performance of a product by analysing sales data, customers’ demand, optimising store layout and product knowledge within the team
- Resolve a business challenge individually day-to-day under the supervision of your Manager by leading the team to change their way of working
- Collaborate with other interns on a strategic business project set by your Country COO. Connect with HQ members and other stores to formulate your proposal. At the end of the programme, you will present your findings and suggestions to management leaders.
- Attend training with internal experts and mentoring with Europe’s Talent Director
Who we are looking for
- Students expected to graduate in 2028
- Bilingual in English and German
- Must be legally authorised to work full-time in Germany without company sponsorship now and in the future
- Aiming to start a full-time permanent employment immediately after graduation in 2028
- Able to join in-person internship induction in Rome for the first three days of the programme. Travel and accommodation costs covered in accordance with company policy
- Ability to work full-time in store for the duration of the internship
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including evenings and Saturdays
- Strong interest working in retail, specifically as a future store manager
- Ability to use numbers in a business context
