Overview In this role you contribute to OHCHR’s HR processes in Geneva, supporting managers and staff on HR matters, coordinating recruitment, and guiding staff development. You will lead or assist HR projects, analyze data, and ensure policy interpretation is applied across the organization. You’ll work closely with client offices to optimize recruitment and mobility, helping shape a professional and inclusive workplace. This position offers impact across recruitment, staff development, and HR policy implementation within the UN system. Verantwortungsbereiche Advises managers and staff on HR matters and prepares essential reports or leads HR projects Identifies vacancies in collaboration with client offices and manages shortlisting and interview processes Acts as ex-officio in examination boards and supports appointment and promotion deliberations Monitors recruitment activities and suggests procedural improvements to client offices Supports staff development, mobility, induction, and performance management via PAS guidance Designs and delivers training programs, assesses training needs, and monitors development initiatives Provides guidance on classification, policies, and procedures; conducts office-wide classifications and policy reviews Collects and analyzes HR data to identify trends and presents insights using visualizations for planning and decision-making Zentrale Anforderungen Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in HR management or related area At least 2 years managing full-cycle recruitment processes Experience advising on interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures Experience in designing and implementing targeted outreach strategies Experience representing the organization at outreach or recruitment events is desirable Experience developing innovative HR methods or tools is desirable Two years or more in data analytics or related area is desirable Client orientation Professionalism Planning and organizing HR policies interpretation Recruitment and selection processes Staff development and training design
