Overview In this role you support farmer communities in Liberia through data-backed farming improvements and practical training. You will oversee registration, field monitoring, and technical guidance to boost GAP adoption and post-harvest practices. You’ll coordinate training deliveries, collect field data, and report progress to drive market-enabled, inclusive value chains. This opportunity lets you shape farmer livelihoods while aligning with ITC’s development goals. Verantwortungsbereiche Maintain an up-to-date farmer registry and document field activities and support needs Provide technical guidance on GAP, pest/disease management, and sustainable coffee production Support and facilitate farmer training on improved farming techniques and post-harvest handling Monitor progress, identify challenges, and provide observations and feedback to the project team Prepare and submit regular field reports on engagement, participation, progress, and recommendations Support distribution and monitoring of inputs (tools, seedlings, fertilizers) to beneficiaries Collect farmer and stakeholder feedback to improve interventions Engage with community leaders, farmer organizations, and other stakeholders to implement activities Zentrale Anforderungen University degree in agronomy, extension services, agricultural engineering, agribusiness, business administration, development studies or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 2 years in project management, coordination, and smallholder farmer development Experience with data collection and survey administration is desirable Proficiency in Microsoft Office Fluent in written and spoken English; local language knowledge advantageous Strong organizational and planning abilities Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work independently and in a multicultural team GAP expertise in coffee production Demonstration plot management and field coaching Farmer training and coaching delivery
