Under the supervision of the Cybercrime Policy Adviser, the consultant will perform the following tasks:
A.
Develop and tailor existing training materials for a 40‑hour course, tailored to public officials working on smuggling of migrants, including police officers, digital forensic analysts and prosecutors on: (i) OSINT; (ii) special investigative techniques, including undercover operations; (iii) digital evidence management; (iv) preservation of digital evidence; and (v) criminal analysis techniques, including search engines, tools and reverse‑image analysis.
B.
Deliver trainings in person and online to the same public officials on: (i) OSINT; (ii) special investigative techniques, including undercover operations; (iii) digital evidence management; (iv) preservation of digital evidence; and (v) criminal analysis techniques, including search engines, tools and reverse‑image analysis.
C.
Provide technical advice and mentoring to public officials in the areas of OSINT, special investigative techniques and criminal analysis in coordination with UNODC.
All tasks are to be performed in one of the following UN languages: English, French or Arabic. Interpretation will be provided when authorities communicate in other languages.
