Responsibilities:
- Coordinate input from various substantive officers within UNODC and convene internal meetings as required.
- Lead the coordination and design of UNODC Knowledge Portal on Human Rights, including close inter-divisional coordination with substantive officers and provision of technical expertise on rule of law and justice issues.
- Undertake technical research and mapping exercises to identify existing tools and resources within the UN system and UNODC that support mainstreaming human rights.
- Plan and design innovative approaches to disseminate UNODC e-learning modules on human rights.
- Perform lead responsibility in coordinating and consolidating divisional inputs for briefing material and background papers.
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive briefing folders for missions and meetings.
- Support inter-office coordination in drafting a variety of written outputs, such as internal policy documents and reports.
- Assist in streamlining administrative procedures and workflows in consultation with the Programme and Policy Coordination Officer.
- Identify problems and issues, propose corrective actions, and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Help review and align management instructions.
- Contribute to managerial oversight and quality assurance by reviewing drafts of relevant programme documents and reports.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and provide insights for planning and decision-making.
