The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end procurement and supply of ship spare parts and marine services in accordance with UOS procurement procedures. This role involves managing sourcing activities, issuing purchase orders, and coordinating global logistics and freight forwarding to ensure timely delivery of materials to vessels. The position requires close collaboration with Vessel Managers, Offshore Crews, third-party vendors, and service providers to meet operational needs effectively. The Supply Chain Specialist reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager and plays a key role in supporting vessel operations through efficient supply chain execution and vendor management. Obtain the very best commercial and economic position for the business, ensuring optimal quality, consideration of priority and managing any risk accordingly. • Support internal clients such as Vessel Teams, Offshore crews, operations and project teams with performance of the assigned supply chain activities. • Updating data into the Company\’s systems and maintaining relevant records Supply chain or commercial degree qualified, relevant working experience will be considered. • 1-2 years\‘ experience in a related field within an international shipping company (Desirable) • Knowledge and experience of Shipping / Energy industries and associated supply chains. • Experienced with Purchasing or Supply Chain Management database software. • Fluent in English. German is a great plus.
