UTA’s Entertainment & Culture Marketing (E&CM) European department is seeking a Munich-based part-time Freelance Production Liaison Specialist to drive our product placement and brand integration business across German film, television, and streaming productions, and provide operational support with international/global productions shooting in the EU.

This role is strictly production-facing, serving as our primary operational bridge between active German productions and our global brand clients. Based in or near Munich, you will be embedded in local production ecosystems, leveraging your direct relationships with German art departments, evaluating content opportunities, directing placement logistics, and supervising execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand active, hands-on relationships with key German crew, Prop Masters, Production Buyers, Set Decorators, Costume Designers, Clearance Coordinators, and Art Department Coordinators across Munich, Bavaria, and the wider German media landscape.
  • Serve as UTA’s primary point of contact for productions across German production hubs, resolving real-time integration challenges and ensuring organic product placement.
  • Actively track regional production pipelines and slate updates to identify upcoming German film and TV content opportunities early in pre-production.
  • Oversee and manage the product placement inventory located at UTA’s Munich office, maintaining accurate tracking and stock availability.
  • Coordinate all shipping, receiving, and returns of brand inventory for both local German productions and international/global productions shooting within Europe.
  • Review screenplays, episode scripts, and production materials to identify natural, contextually relevant prop integration beats and brand alignment moments.
  • Coordinate directly with local clearance coordinators and production legal teams to facilitate loan agreements, placement clearance releases, and NDAs.

What You Will Need

  • Art Department Background: Professional background in film/TV production within the art department, prop department, or clearances.
  • Local Production Network: Established, direct connections with crew members, specifically Prop Masters, Production Buyers, Set Decorators, Clearance Coordinators, and Art Departments in Munich and the broader German production ecosystem.
  • Script & Content Analysis: Strong ability to analyze screenplays in both German and English, breaking down scenes for organic placement opportunities and clearance needs.
  • Logistical & Operational Skills: Highly organized approach to tracking physical inventory, managing office stock, coordinating courier/freight logistics, and managing clearance paperwork.
  • Language Skills: Native or fluent German (written and spoken) is required, along with fluent professional English to communicate effectively with international agency teams.
  • Discretion: Absolute professional judgment when handling unreleased scripts, casting details, and confidential IP.
