Onboarding Manager (f / m / d) Product Solutions

To achieve our ambitious goals we are looking for you to support our “Product Solutions Team”. Currently we have a short-term vacancy of an Onboarding Manager (f / m / d).

Your areas of responsibility include:

1. Steering and monitoring our onboarding process for securities fund launches and transfers end-2-end into Universal-Investment to ensure a delivery in-time and in-quality.
2. Acting as central touchpoint and escalation body for clients and our internal departments during the end-2-end onboarding process.
3. Managing internal and external stakeholders to keep them appraised of progress and communicate any additional requirements.
4. Coordinating and facilitating the legal and operational setup (incl. cross country distribution requirements) of new mandates (fund launches as well as transfers) by interacting with clients and our internal departments.
5. Support clients and internal departments in handling non-standard requests (e.g. commissions, new processes).
6. Ensure that all onboarding related KYC & Due Diligence requirements are met by supporting Legal & Compliance.
7. Establish and maintain efficient and well-documented onboarding and life cycle management processes for clients in line with local fund regulations.
8. Contribute to product developments by addressing potential developments to and working closely with Universal’s Product Mgmt Team.
9. The Onboarding Manager is a key profile position with significant responsibility and will also be encouraged to identify opportunities for improvements within client onboarding.

What you offer:

1. Excellent university degree in business administration, economics, or related field of study.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in the European asset management industry, either in a project management or a client-facing role.
3. Excellent organizational and project management skills, incl. proven experience in project management and/or contract management.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
5. Good understanding of the investment fund business in Germany, Luxembourg and Ireland (e.g. fund administration, securities services, KYC, etc.).
6. Service orientation, paired with a solution-oriented attitude.
7. Dedicated team player.
8. Strong leadership skills and high capability of convincing others.
9. Fluent in German and English in word and writing; any additional language is considered as an asset.
