We are looking for a person who represents the field of counseling psychology in teaching and research at the interface between clinical and organizational contexts and covers counselling for individuals, groups and organizations. The scientific foundation of professional standards and the methodological validation of counseling services should be further developed.

The professorship offers teaching in particular in the Bachelor of Psychology (Counseling Psychology, Health and Rehabilitation Psychology), in the Master of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy (BQT II and III), in the Master of Business, Psychology and Management and in the Master of Social Law and Social Economy.

Experience in university teaching is expected.

Research activity in the field of counseling psychology is demonstrated by publications, particularly in international peer-reviewed journals. Experience in the acquisition of third-party funding is also desirable.

Engagement in academic self-governance as well as experience in cooperating with service providers, institutions and authorities in the health, social or education sector are desirable.

A willingness to take on the academic management of the part-time Master\'s degree course in Coaching, Organizational Consulting, Supervision (COS) is desirable.

The prerequisites for employment and performance requirements are determined by §§ 67, 68 of the Higher Education Act of the Federal State of Hesse (HessHG).

A PhD and relevant additional scientific achievements (e.g. habilitation) are required.

A license to practice in psychological psychotherapy or advanced psychotherapy training are prerequisites for an application. The call for applications is open to all psychotherapeutic disciplines; applicants with a systemic approach are welcome. The license to practice must be in hand at the time of starting the position.
