The position is assigned to the Chair of American Studies (Prof. Dr. Timo Müller) in the Department of Literature, Art and Media Studies. Part of the ERC-funded project "Off the Road: The Environmental Aesthetics of Early Automobility" (offtheroad.org), the position will be expected to contribute to researching the corpus of early automobile road literature the project is compiling.
