In the Faculty of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mathematics, the Department of Computer Science – Networked
Systems Group, offers a full-time position as
Postdoctoral Researcher (w/m/d)
(Salary level 13 TV-L)
starting as soon as possible. The position is limited to a period of 3 years. It is a qualification position in the sense of the
Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz (WissZeitVG), which is intended to contribute to qualification regarding an academic career.
The Networked Systems group develops concepts and methods to make networked systems, ranging from large-scale data centers to
tiny IoT devices, more usable and sustainable. Our focus is on creating better programming tools, middleware, and protocols
leveraging emerging hardware. We are looking for a highly motivated postdoc to join our international team.
Area of responsibility:
- Conducting research on networked systems (spanning broadly programmable networks, data center networks, carbon-aware
networked systems, IoT systems)
- Participating in teaching activities (4 hours per week)
Hiring requirements:
- A PhD degree in computer science or a related field
- Expertise in at least one of the above listed research topics in networked systems
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken
