Working Student position at the Chair of Health Economics, Policy and Management (m/f/d) 20 % (limited, by 01.10.2025 until 31.01.2026) Your tasks This position is part of the research project “Swiss hospital capacity planning: An empirical evaluation of its impact on hospital service delivery, quality and costs”, funded by the Swiss National Fund (SNF). As a working student, you will – Support experienced researchers in data pre-processing, descriptive statistics, and data analysis using large datasets from the Swiss Federal Statistics Office (over 15 million observations of patient data) – Support the team with data visualization) – Have the opportunity to contribute to a research project with potential real-world impact – Show initiative and drive your tasks with high motivation Your profile We are looking for highly qualified and motivated candidates: – Master or Bachelor student in a later semester in an economics or computer science program with a quantitative focus – Solid quantitative skills including working knowledge of a programming language (e.g. R, python, stata, matlab) and a motivation to improve your technical skillset – Experience with Ubuntu (Server) is a plus – Result-oriented working style with a high degree of initiative, creativity, and team spirit – Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus.
