The Department of Economics and Management (DEM) of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance of the University of Luxembourg is looking for a Postdoctoral researcher to conduct research in Econometrics. The postdoctoral researcher will be working under the supervision of Professor Gautam TRIPATHI.
Your role
Research in microeconometrics - theoretical or applied, with a focus on methodology
Writing academic papers for publication in peer reviewed journals and participating in conferences
Participating actively in the academic life of the department, e.g., seminars and workshops, and interacting with members of the Empirical Methods Group and PhD students doing applied work
Assist with teaching activities, one to three hours a week and contribute to tutoring students

Your profile
PhD in Economics, e.g., last 5 years, with a specialization in Microeconometrics
Strong interest in methodological issues in microeconometrics, machine learning, high-dimensional models
Proven ability to autonomously conduct research at a post-doctoral level
Proven ability to work individually as well as part of a team
Fluency in English is required
