Your tasks
- The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for applying, developing and optimizing state-of-the-art methods in cardio-immunology. The diversity of subject matter will require a creative mind who is dedicated to solving challenging problems in an interdisciplinary environment.
- The postdoctoral researcher will summarize the data and write manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals. The postdoctoral researcher can resort to the expertise of renowned national and international research networks.
- Active involvement in grant applications and animal study approvals.
Profile
- The applicants should possess a Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, life sciences, or a related field.
- The applicants should be highly motivated and be able to work constructively with others.
- The applicants should have a record of accomplishment that has either been published or is in press in regarded international journals.
- Animal and cell culture experiments, basic biochemistry and molecular biology techniques as well as bioinformatic approaches are crucial for this opportunity. Experience in the field of cardiology and/or immunology is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are crucial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German are a plus.
