For our project “Analysis of the SRG online offering”, starting in September 2026, we are looking for Student Assistants as Coders with excellent language skills in German, English, French, Italian, or Romansh to conduct a multilingual content analysis of media articles.
In this role, you will support an interdisciplinary team in conducting a multilingual content analysis of the SRG online platform. The assignment is scheduled to run from September 2026 through, tentatively, the end of December 2026.
Your Profile
Excellent language skills in German and/or English, as well as at least one other language listed above (French, Italian, or Romansh)
Willingness to work approximately 3 to 13 hours per week (depending heavily on the language(s))
Your Benefits
Compensation in accordance with the FHGR regulations for student assistants (CHF 27.50.-/hour at the BSc level, CHF 34.-/hour at the MSc level).

A mandatory 2-day training session will take place on
August 31 and September 1, 2026 . Successful completion of the training is a prerequisite for employment on the project and will be compensated.

The project is based at the Swiss Institute for Information Science (SII) and the Institute for Multimedia Production (IMP) and is being carried out in cooperation with gfs Bern and the University of Fribourg.
