h3bUniBE is quintessentially Bernese. /b /h3 pWith us, you can expect a culture of respect and a healthy working environment. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liAssisting with tasks arising in teaching and research within the PA department /li liDevelopment of research projects and grant proposals for external funding (incl. own project) /li liCollaborating on publications and other scientific output within the research group /li liSupport/conduction of archaeological fieldwork in wetland- and alpine archaeological contexts including excavations, coring and surveys in Switzerland and abroad /li liTeaching of 2 courses per term /li liCo-supervision of seminar papers, BA and MA theses /li liGeneral administrative duties /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liExcellent MA or PhD, preferably in European prehistoric archaeology /li liExperience with archaeological fieldwork and documentation systems /li liExperience in climate archaeology, environmental archaeology, dendroarchaeology, or paleo- resp. climate sciences is beneficial /li liDemonstrated proficiency in computational archaeology (Statistics/Data modelling) /li liExperience and interest in teaching /li liProficiency in German and English, other European languages are beneficial /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
