YOUR TASKS
- We are looking for research excellence and the potential to publish in top economics journals. Applicants should have their main research interest in macroeconomics. We seek for expertise in computational economics, which is also expected to be taught at the graduate level. Other courses may be at the graduate or undergraduate level. The teaching load consists of four class hours per week per semester as well as the supervision of theses.
YOUR PROFILE
- PhD in economics, completed before April 2024
- Expertise in conducting high-quality research
- Strong knowledge of macroeconomics and quantitative research methods
- Expertise in applying computational methods and the corresponding programming skills (e.g. using Python, R, Matlab, and Dynare)
- Publications or evidence of potential to publish in international peer-reviewed economics journals
- Excellent command of English; a good command of German is recommended, but not a prerequisite
