40 Faculty of Historical and Cultural Studies Full Professor of Historical Ancillary Sciences (including Digital Methods) with a Focus on the Middle Ages This professorship will contribute to strengthening and advancing the Auxiliary Historical Sciences (with a focus on the Middle Ages) at the university. Successful candidates must have a strong research profile, one that demonstrates their ability to apply the methods of the Auxiliary Historical Sciences - especially in the fields of documentary source studies as well as archival, library and manuscript cultures of the European Middle Ages. They must also demonstrate experience in applying methods in the Digital and Computational Humanities. Applications are especially welcome from scholars who have experience in integrating the auxiliary sciences with new research questions and perspectives, especially cultural and material history approaches, and a record of innovation in this area. Active participation in relevant interdisciplinary research clusters at the university is a key part of the job profile.
