Contextual Overview

Unsere Grüne Glasfaser (UGG) is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel / Unternehmensjurist (m/w/d) based in Ismaning, Germany. The role serves as a legal sparring partner for operational departments, focusing primarily on contract and construction law within the rapidly expanding fiber optic infrastructure sector.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Completed degree in law (Studium der Rechtswissenschaften), qualified for legal counsel or corporate lawyer roles.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in contract law, ideally within an in-house legal department or similar environment.
• Solid knowledge of commercial, service, work, and construction law (VOB/B knowledge is a plus).
• Experience in the telecommunications, fiber optics, or infrastructure industry is advantageous.
• Fluent in German (negotiation-proof) and good command of English.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Advising internal departments on legal matters, specifically in contract and construction law.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction, service, and commercial contracts.
• Advising on legal disputes and managing external legal advisors.
• Developing standard contract templates and handling legal aspects of procurement and sales activities.
• Identifying legal risks and formulating pragmatic solutions.
• Conducting legal training and raising awareness among employees regarding relevant legal topics.
