Your mission

• Corporate Identity and Brand System: You guard our corporate identity. You ensure it lives consistently in every piece of material: presentations, templates, brochures, event collateral, and digital assets. You maintain and uphold the system and check materials for CI compliance.
• Design and Visual Content: You run entire projects on your own, from marketing materials to graphics and infographics through to social assets, presentations, videos, and campaigns. You design them yourself and develop them further in sparring with the relevant stakeholders and our Head of Marketing & Communications.
• Website: You maintain and shape our web presence: portfolio pages, news, and blog posts. You build new subpages and landing pages.
• Marketing Tools and Automation: This is your area. You run our tool stack, automate recurring workflows, and build up our marketing reporting.
• Newsletter: You own our newsletter end-to-end: look and feel, the tool, topic planning, and content creation.
• Social Media: You help shape our editorial plan, develop stories and formats for our channels, from graphics to video, plan them, and publish them independently.
• Events: You help shape our events, from in-house formats to keynotes, trade fairs, and networking events, and you own the materials. At UnternehmerTUM events, you attend in person, take photos, and cover what happens.
• Portfolio Communications: With our Head of Marketing & Communications, you handle operational coordination with our startups: timing, materials, and approval loops for announcements. This is an area you can grow into and be trained in, if you're interested.

Your profile

• Ideally, you have one to two years of professional experience in marketing, design, and/or communications, at an agency, at a startup, or at another VC.
• Your English is native or near-native, and your German is strong. We work in both languages every day.
• You hold a degree in a relevant field, for example, marketing, communications, design, media, or business.
• You are confident with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Canva, and you have a good eye for design, video editing, and motion content. You enjoy photography and image editing.
• You maintain websites independently and build pages yourself. We work with Webflow.
• You work precisely. You fact-check, pay close attention to detail, and take quality seriously.
• You are well-organized, structured, and reliable.
• You are genuinely passionate about startups, technology, and innovation.
• Experience with newsletter tools. We work with Campaign Monitor.
• You have experience with automation tools (e.g., Make or Notion) and use AI tools as a matter of course in your day-to-day work.
• You have a basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
