Roles & Responsibilities:
As part of our growing demand worldwide, iluminr has a new opportunity for a UX/UI Designer. This opportunity is designed for a proactive, self-driven UX evangelist who is passionate about innovation, continuous improvement, and quality. In this role, you will get to:
- Evangelize UX: Act as our UX evangelist, advocate for a friction-less journey, and maintain our design language across our product.
- Collaborate with Product and Development: Represent UX in the development process, serving as a sparring partner to our product team and our front-end engineers, ensuring a consistent user experience and a state-of-the-art implementation of design principles.
- Innovate & Design: Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for new features, aligning user needs and design language with our overall product goals.
- Prototyping & User Testing: Generate wireframes and prototypes to test new product ideas. Together with the product team, you will plan, facilitate, and participate in discovery workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct user research to learn about our users and identify areas for improvement.
Specific Industry Expertise: Enterprise SaaS is okay but should know what works well in a B2B context.

Shift Time: AEST – as much overlap as possible but not essential to match.
Device Support: Talent can use their own device with right configuration as this is a graphics heavy role so a Mac or high-end Windows with sufficient power is preferred.
Project Requirements:
- A passion for outstanding design solutions and intuitive user experiences.
- Min 3 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating UX design skills and innovative thinking.
- Experience designing in an agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
- Significant experience in building and maintaining a design system.
- A deep interest in understanding our user’s problems and the ability to collect and analyze information to solve complex problems and translate them into simple solutions.
- Fluency in modern collaboration, wireframing, and prototyping tools.
- A strong technical aptitude and interest in exploring new software and technology.
- High octane levels of energy with a highly self-driven sense of motivation.
- A naturally curious mindset and a love of learning.
