As part of the global Product data team you will handle the creation and maintenance of product data in PDM and ERP tools. In this role you will work closely to Product Management, coordinating workflows across different functions while ensuring high data quality during the complete product life cycle. While working „hands-on“, you will get as well the possibility to make an impact while supporting data quality improvements and process harmonization.
Place of work is Hamburg, Germany or any other BFS location.
What will you be doing:
- Coordinate item creation, including initialization, data enrichment, workflow coordination, and follow-up across various tools
- Maintain item data through its lifecycle, addressing changes, corrections, enrichments, and end-of-life processes
- Oversee internal and external data classification (e.g., ETIM, product lines, families)
- Verify data completeness during creation, guiding teams on required inputs
- Support projects across Product Data, Marketing, Sales, IT, and other functions as agreed
- Provide regular reports on item creation workflows and project progress
What will you need:
- First experience in data management, product information, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to work
- Attention to detail with an analytical mindset and eagerness to learn
- Experience with ERP, PDM, or PIM systems is an advantage
- Good communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented and proactive attitude
- Fluency in English is required
