We are seeking a Specialist in Development Technology to join our Heat Interface Unit team in Celle, Germany. The ideal candidate will be responsible for product development, application design, and technical project management.
Role Description: As a Specialist in Development Technology, your primary responsibilities include:
- Developing technology, systems, and products for installation systems, including manifolds and walls ports.
- Participating in and managing product development activities across various projects, while actively contributing as a project team member.
- Providing technical support to other departments, leveraging your expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovate and conceptualize new product solutions.
- Undertake mechanical design and conceptualization.
- Formulate component and system requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to offer technical support and training to sales and other departments.
- Understand customer requirements, provide feedback, and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure product quality meets both organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage budgeting for assigned projects and tasks.
- Report in accordance with company processes and requirements.
In this role, you will be pivotal in transforming ideas into final products, encompassing design, specification, analysis, and prototype stages. Your work will contribute to delivering innovative, high-quality, and cost-effective solutions in collaboration with team members and/or external partners.
Qualifications:
- A relevant technical degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.).
- Experience in R&D and mechanical design for production.
- Preferably, experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), especially in “Heat interface Unit” applications and building technology.
- A track record in product development, meeting milestones and timelines.
- Proficiency in 3D design tools (e.g., Solid Works).
- Fluency in English and German; other languages are advantageous.
- Self-motivation, resourcefulness, strong organizational skills, and collaborative ability.
