Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Account Management: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive global account strategies for complex, multi‑national Pharma clients; act as the primary point of contact for the customers’ exec leadership team and position yourself as the trusted advisor for senior stakeholders.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify, pursue, and secure profitable business opportunities by leveraging deep industry knowledge and innovative solutions that add value across the client’s supply chain.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership: Collaborate with global teams across multiple business units, including forwarding, ocean freight, and other logistics services, to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs.
  • Client‑Centric Solutions: Anticipate and communicate future client requirements, aligning UPS’s full portfolio of services to address their challenges and drive business outcomes.
  • Team Management: Provide leadership to a virtual sales team, ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and execution of account plans across regions.

What You’ll Need

  • Industry Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pharma logistics, with deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the industry.
  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross‑functional, global teams at a senior level.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on long‑term growth and profitability.
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results‑Driven: Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a complex, global environment.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
