What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Account Management: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive global account strategies for complex, multi‑national Pharma clients. Act as the primary point of contact for the customers exec leadership team and position yourself as the trusted advisor for senior stakeholders within your customer portfolio and within UPS Healthcare.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify, pursue, and secure profitable business opportunities by leveraging deep industry knowledge and innovative solutions that add value across the client’s supply chain.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership: Collaborate with global teams across multiple business units, including forwarding, ocean freight, and other logistics services, to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs.
  • Client‑Centric Solutions: Anticipate and communicate future client requirements, aligning UPS’s full portfolio of services to address their challenges and drive business outcomes.
  • Team Management: Provide leadership to a virtual sales team, ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and execution of account plans across regions.

What You’ll Need

  • Industry Expertise: A minimum of 2 years of experience in Pharma logistics, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the industry.
  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross‑functional, global teams at a senior level.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on long‑term growth and profitability.
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results‑Driven: A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a complex, global environment.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
