The Opportunity
Join an exciting and innovative clinical research environment supporting the development of cutting-edge medical technologies. This is a great opportunity for an experienced freelance CRA to support a cardiovascular medical device study involving a cardiology device.
This is a focused, flexible assignment that would suit a CRA who has availability alongside other freelance commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct approximately one monitoring visit per site.
- Complete approximately three monitoring visits in total.
- Prepare monitoring visit reports following each visit.
- Conduct any required follow-up activities with the sites.
- Ensure compliance with the study protocol, GCP and applicable regulations.
- Identify and follow up on any outstanding site actions.
- Support the successful completion of monitoring activities before the end of the year.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA).
- Experience conducting independent on-site monitoring visits.
- Medical device clinical trial experience is required.
- Cardiovascular or implantable medical device experience would be highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of GCP and applicable clinical research regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage site follow-up.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Availability to travel to Mainz, Leipzig and Munich.
Commitment
- Maximum 0.2 FTE across October, November and December.
- The overall commitment may be slightly less depending on site requirements.
- Approximately three on-site monitoring visits in total.
- Assignment expected to be completed by the end of December, subject to site availability.
