Real Estate Portfolio Manager

pOur client is a growing real estate investment platform seeking to strengthen its presence in the Zurich region. To support its expansion strategy, the company is looking for an experienced Real Estate Portfolio Manager who combines strong market expertise, a hands-on operational mindset, and a track record of optimizing residential property performance. Based in the Zurich region, this individual will play a key role in managing, growing, and optimizing a portfolio of residential assets while contributing to the long-term value creation of the business. /p pbResponsibilities: /b /p liManage and optimize a portfolio of residential, income-generating properties in the Zurich region, ensuring strong occupancy, tenant satisfaction, and asset performance. /li liDevelop and implement asset management strategies, including renovation, repositioning, and value-add initiatives. /li liOversee budgeting, financial reporting, and performance analysis across the portfolio. /li liCoordinate with property management teams, facility managers, and external contractors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. /li liNegotiate leases, service contracts, and vendor agreements. /li liMonitor local market trends and provide recommendations on rent strategy, capital expenditure, and portfolio adjustments (acquisitions/disposals). /li liEnsure compliance with Swiss tenancy law, regulations, and internal policies. /li liDevelop and maintain relationships with property owners, brokers, tenants, and other key market participants. /li liLiaise with owners, investors, and stakeholders, providing regular reporting and updates. /li liCollaborate closely with internal and external partners to support the platform's broader growth strategy in Switzerland. /li pbRequirements: /b /p liMinimum 5 to 10 years of experience in residential property/portfolio management in the Swiss real estate market, ideally in the Zurich region. /li liStrong and well-established professional network within the Swiss real estate market. /li liIn-depth knowledge of the residential real estate landscape in Zurich and German-speaking Switzerland. /li libFluency in English and German is required; French is considered a plus. /b /li liStrong financial and analytical skills, with solid command of budgeting and performance reporting. /li liExcellent communication and negotiation abilities. /li liFamiliarity with Swiss tenancy law and local real estate practices. /li liProficiency in property management software and MS Office. /li liDemonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and build long-term professional relationships. /li liExperience within a real estate investment, asset management, or institutional investment environment is considered an asset. /li pThe successful candidate must have the right to work in Switzerland and be willing to travel regularly within the region to oversee properties and maintain key industry relationships. /p
