What is the purpose of this Role?
As a Relationship Manager at Elavon, you are expected to take full responsibility for retaining existing and acquiring new businesses through your own and through our existing partner network across Emerging segments vertical in the Enterprise segment and relationship building with customers and partners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
This includes accomplishing clear expectations and objectives (short-and long-term) and together with internal stakeholders follow through our ambitious goals.
- Accountabilities for your role – what are you expected to do?
- Retain strategic customers in Germany
- Manage relationships with the customers in the Emerging segments for Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- Identify, approach and win new Enterprise customers in the Emerging Segments
- Present Elavon offer to new and existing customers, pitch to the senior stakeholders as a part of wining new business opportunities
- Identify new business opportunities, referral partners that can empower Elavon position in the region
- Coordinate business development programs and call schedule
- Manage negotiations with customers, work on pricing offers within the target rate of return
- Prepare proper documentation and close the transaction
- Act in alignment with company policy and regulatory requirements
- Monitors and analyze relationship plan results and account activities
- Develop solutions for problems identified across customers portfolio
- Create an exit barriers for the customers so Elavon business is secured effectively
- Represent Elavon during the meetings with customers, fairs, industry meetings
- Take part and manage projects in order to provide customers with top level of services
- Prepare and run meetings with potential customers- using online tools and face to face
- Identify buying center, present Elavon offer to potential customers, establish relationships with the key decision-makers and close deals
- Negotiate most attractive commercials for Elavon
- Identify and participate in tenders announced in the Emerging industry, take direction on each case, both internally and externally
- Establish relationships and align with strategic partners in the industry
- Seek new business opportunities and new sources of revenue to accelerate new sale
- Meet identified KPIs and achieve sales targets
- Support Elavon admin/support team with various administrative issues in application/boarding process
- Present various business cases during internal meetings and forums
- Document and update business opportunities in CRM system

- Qualifications Required to perform your Role? (experience, language, driving licence etc)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payment/fintech industry or one of emerging verticals ( i.e. fuel, transit, unattended, insurance, parking etc.)
- Existing relationships with customers and/or partners in one of the areas mentioned above
- Successful sale to large customers
- Education or training in new business acquisition
- Experienced to pitch to senior stakeholders in large organizations
- Driving licence
- German speaker, business English
