About the Position
The Installation Management Command Directorate-Europe (ID-E), Executive Officer serves as the primary administrative lead and technical expert supporting the Command Group. Operating with high discretion, the incumbent manages critical logistical, personnel, and document control workflows. Acting as a strategic bridge, they translate higher headquarters directives into actionable plans and coordinate responses across subordinate units to ensure seamless mission integration.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes (1) managing and planning manpower requirements; (2) recommending solutions to resolve personnel problems; (3) developing guidance and policies to distribute to workforce; and (4) analyzing or evaluating long-range plans, programs, or projects to support the mission. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13 or above).
Time in Grade Requirement
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
