Sports and Fitness Assistant (Equipment & Facilities) NF-03 in Vilseck

This position is located at USAG Bavaria - MWR, Fitness Center, Rose Barracks (Vilseck), Germany.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

• Progressively responsible work experience that provided knowledge of equipment and facility maintenance, inventory, ordering and instructing; and use of various recreation equipment.
• Good customer relations skills.
• Must be physically able to walk, bend, stoop, stand on a routine basis; lift supplies and equipment weighing 50 pounds.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":

• Have at least one (1) year of experience in Outdoor Sports Field Maintenance & Field Marking and Indoor Gym & Court Maintenance
• Possess a certification or proof of formal training from major commercial fitness brands (e.g., Life Fitness, Precor, Matrix)
• Completed at least one of the following trainings: Certified Sports Turf Manager (CSTM), OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certificate, or First Aid/CPR/AED Certification

Applicant meeting the Best Qualifying Criteria/Highly Preferred will be referred to the hiring manager. All other qualified applicants will be referred if requested by the hiring manager.
