The DEI journey at UC began in 2023 with a small group of passionate individuals who took the initiative to raise awareness, and build a more inclusive culture. We started by creating a DEI Committee that decided to aggregate the DEI work in a DEI calendar. The idea was that every month the company would spotlight a different community, and facilitate the kind of experiences that lead to a better company culture. Now, as our efforts have grown, we\’re excited to take the next step by bringing in an expert who can further drive our mission and help us make an even greater impact.
