POSITION SUMMARY:
The Patient Dining Services Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation of the patient meal assembly line, the Room Service 4YOU program, patient meal and patient unit food supply delivery functions, and patient satisfaction. The Supervisor oversees the Nutrition Care Representatives under the guidance and authority of the Clinical Nutrition Manager and the Nutrition Services Director. This position generally works 11am-7:30pm and has rotating weekends.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE:
Associate’s degree in food service or hospitality management preferred, or Certified Dietary Manager. Serve Safe Certification or like Food Safety certification. Good communication skills both verbal and written. The ability to coach, guide and develop a high-performance team. Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office.
EXPERIENCE:
Two years direct leadership experience in a health care food service operation. Patient meal service preferably room service.
