V2X is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to provide business strategy, solution development, and technical guidance to develop business and market solutions that align with cloud service offerings from the cloud service provider. Cloud Solution Architects specialize in application and software architecture.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to architectural design and setup of cloud environments.
- Strong focus on cloud security and compliance ensuring operational excellence and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to the development of cloud practices and standards.
- Provision, configure and administer Cloud services and infrastructure, in-line with best practices.
- Develop detailed project specifications and implementation plans.
- Install, configure, automate, and monitor various cloud services.
- Perform operational engineering for activities which include platform upgrades, server patching, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Provide periodic off-hours on-call support for production environments.
- Document and diagram deployed solutions in the cloud.
- Assist in driving process and deployment automation through the use of code and automation tools.
Qualifications
Education / Certifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree (BS) in Information Technology OR Equivalent Degree
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- IAT Level III Certification with CE (CASP, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP)
Experience / Skills:
- 20+ years experience in Information Technology
- 5+ years experience in the Cloud environment
- Experience in Solution Development and Application Architecture
