For our Geneva-based team, we are looking for an experienced and analytical SENIOR ACCOUNTANT & CONTROLLER 100%In this position, you will be working in an experienced small team and report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Your area of responsibilities will cover the following:Bookkeeping and monthly closing of accounts for Swiss and international companies including IFRS reporting packagesTax returns (direct taxes, VAT, etc.)Regulatory and compliance reporting tasks for foreign entitiesAccounting management of independent entitiesStatutory financial statements of Group companiesPrimary contact for external auditorsTreasury managementVarious controlling and analysis tasks including creating professional management reports for senior management and optimising the controlling frameworkParticipation to basic office management tasksThe successful candidate will bring the following knowledge and experience:Minimum of 5 years’ practical experience in accounting, preferably in the financial sector or in a fiduciary company in SwitzerlandProfessional accounting certificate such as Chartered Specialist in Accounting and Financial Management or Certified fiduciary (University or bachelor degree of applied sciences in business administration or economics would be an advantage) knowledge of Swiss and IFRS accounting requirements (understanding of consolidation is a plus) knowledge of the Swiss tax rulesSolid competency using the MS Office package (particularly Excel)Strong analytical skills characterised by a precise and fact-based way of workingMotivated, conscientious and quality-minded personality capable to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlinesFlexible team playerExcellent communicational skills and willingness to learn command of both English and French ( would be an asset)We offer attractive and evolutive work conditions in an international and multi-cultural environment.
