We invite you to put your skills to work, driving meaningful and enduring change while enjoying a rewarding career. /ph3The Opportunity /h3pWe are currently seeking a Senior Supply Planning Analyst to support and ensure the effective execution of all activities that contribute to the achievement and continuous improvement of our logistics planning and performance for outbound operations in Europe. /ppThe primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate the movement of commercial products valued at more than USD 1.0 to 1.2 billion from our refineries in Japan, the UK, Brazil, and Canada, including Nickel Class I and Class II products, from production facilities and warehouses to domestic and international customers. The role ensures timely deliveries, optimizes transportation route and costs, and maintains high service levels to final customers. /ppThis is permanent position. The location is St-Prex, Switzerland. It’s a Full time position (100%), 5 days a week. We give 2 days of home office flexibility. We expect someone to start immediately. /ppAdditionally, in this position you will: /pulliDevelop and implement efficient outbound logistics plans (weekly, monthly and yearly) to ensure timely delivery of commercial products (Nickel) to customers /liliCoordinate with production, sales, and warehouse teams to align shipping schedules with customer requirements /liliBe accountable for the scheduling work management planning and execution including short-term planning, resource coordination (fixing vessels as required), and delivery of the shipping schedule. /liliResponsible for coordinating with plant, regional marketing units, local and worldwide logistics providers the readiness of cargo and shipping schedule in order to accomplish with delivery terms conditions assuring quality, packing, labelling and weighting /liliAct as the primary escalation point of contact for all operational issues raised by both internal and external stakeholders. /liliMonitor and analyse transportation, carrier, 3rd party vendors performance metrics, including delivery times, costs, and carrier performance. /liliProvide a resource link between carriers and Vale customers, including providing advice on interpretation of contractual agreements, logistics practices and best shipping methods and routes. /liliTrack shipping schedules, perform all required system related updates and resolve issues that may affect shipping, vessel slippage risk and deliveries to the customers /liliProvide technical input into the formulation of overall commercial strategy for the product group or business unit. /liliIdentify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and reduce complexity /liliFinancial reconciliation of freight activities, including capturing of all costs, reconciliation, including receipt of invoices and processing of payments /liliAddress any service issues related to a 3rd party vendor promptly /liliUtilize SAP and data analysis tools to track shipments , analyze logistics data, and provide guidance to management /liliEnsure all outbound shipments comply with relevant regulations and company policies /liliStay informed about industry trends and best practices in logistics and transportation /liliRecommend and implement process improvements to enhance overall logistics operations. /li /ulh3About You /h3h3Education: /h3ulliUniversity degree in Supply Chain, International Trade or equivalent /li /ulh3Experience: /h3ulli8-15 years of experience in the field /li /ulh3Skills: /h3ulliTeam player, autonomous and self-driven /liliAbility to work effectively across multi-cultural and complex environments /liliDetermined problem solver with high level attention to details /liliStrong analytical and critical thinking skills /liliSolid time management skill and ability to prioritise workload in a changing environment and within tight deadlines /liliWell organized and capable to handle priorities independently /liliKnowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements /liliProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, BO/BI, Copilot Agents /liliStrong knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S4/Hana, SD module. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
