Project Manager – High Voltage Substations & Energy Plants
Overview
You will take full ownership of complex projects in the field of high-voltage substations (up to 380 kV) and energy generation facilities — including both conventional and renewable energy systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete project lifecycle — from tender and planning stages through to execution and successful handover.
- Monitor schedules, budgets, and quality standards to ensure on-time and within-scope delivery.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings, and handle negotiations with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
- Work closely with engineering, construction, and technical specialists across various departments.
- Identify potential project risks at an early stage and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Maintain transparent project documentation and oversee structured project handovers.
Your Profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable qualification (e.g., technician with relevant experience).
- Some professional experience in project management, ideally within the energy infrastructure sector.
- Basic understanding of contract and claim management, with knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in German (written and spoken); English proficiency is beneficial.
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, combined with teamwork skills and a high sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany.
This is a permanent position full time which will require site presence.
