Project Manager Engineering Purpose of the role As a Project Manager Engineering, you will lead cross‑functional product development and engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and innovative solutions that support business and customer objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead product development, customization, relocation, and cost‑down projects with a strong focus on innovation.
Manage cross‑functional project teams within a global matrix organization.
Oversee end‑to‑end project execution, ensuring delivery on scope, timeline, quality, and budget.
Act as the main interface between project teams and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages continuous learning and individual contribution.
Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize project processes and outcomes.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful execution.
Coordinate technical, supply chain, marketing, and quality activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field).
Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within a global matrix organization.
Experience leading complex product development projects from concept to prototype with minimal supervision.
Broad understanding of engineering, supply chain, marketing, and quality processes.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MS365, DevOps, and project management tools.
Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
Experience in the vacuum technology or semiconductor industry is beneficial.
