Within the Personal Insurance Department, and to strengthen the Sickness Loss of Earnings (SLE) service, we are looking for a Group Leader for Sickness Loss of Earnings between 80 and 100%, based in Lausanne. The role involves both leading a team of specialised managers and managing claims files.
The tasks awaiting you:
- Provide your support and technical advice to your colleagues on cases - Organise and coordinate the work of your group: hold team meetings, one-to-ones, organise replacement plans, etc. - Actively participate in the weekly management meetings of the service and work closely with the service manager and other group leaders - Train your colleagues (10 people) and ensure the proper application of management rules - Plan, organise and control the handling of your team’s benefit cases and actively participate in improving and simplifying processing procedures - Independently and proactively handle part of the claims cases in your own client portfolio (from the opening stage and in close collaboration with medical advisers and our Care Managers) - Maintain regular contact with partners, insured persons, employers and healthcare providers
Your profile:
- Federal insurance diploma or equivalent qualification - Proven experience in the SLE benefits field - Experienced leader, recognised for your ability to mobilise teams, create a positive working atmosphere and foster staff development, while making effective decisions in demanding environments - Native French speaker; a very good command of Italian is an asset - Comfortable with common IT tools (MS Office)
