We are an established scaleup within the automotive software ecosystem and the secret weapon behind some of the world\’s biggest car brands and their dealership organizations. Veact has embarked on an ambitious European growth journey to capture the potential of 380,000 car dealerships and repair shops generate a turnover of €170 billion in aftersales alone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing solutions to complex problems related to our modular web platform with an agile team of software developers
• Working on a microservice oriented architecture and streaming data components written in Scala based on Akka, MongoDB Atlas, PostgreSQL and Kafka
• End2end responsibility for continuous delivery and for running the platform in an AWS based Kubernetes cluster

Who you are and what you bring:

• You have a computer science or natural science degree or equivalent vocational training and work experience
• You\’re passionate about software development and have already mastered an object-oriented or functional programming language and are proficient at developing with it
• You have at least some years of experience in developing web applications and working with databases
• Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus: Scala, Akka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes
• Fluent in written and spoken English, advanced language skills in German is a plus
• Presence in our Munich office is required, with the option to work from home two days a week
